Professor Aster Tsegaye Abebe is a distinguished expert in Immuno-Hematology at the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Addis Ababa University. With over 30 years of experience, she has made significant contributions to clinical diagnostics, research, and education in the field of Immunology/Hematology, HIV/AIDS and other infectious & non-infectious diseases . Dr. Tsegaye has authored 126 scientific publications and devoting to promote more women in science and serves as the acting Chair of the Research Committee of AFREhealth and President of the Ethiopian Medical Laboratory Association (EMLA).
